Take an Official Look at the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 "Los Angeles"
Honoring the LA Rams, Dodgers and Lakers all in one shoe.
Nike is releasing another pair of Air Griffey Max 1 this time, paying homage to the city of Los Angeles.
The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Los Angeles” is constructed in a black nubuck overlay and features a gradient neoprene base that highlights the team colors of the LA Rams, Dodgers and Lakers. Blue and yellow contrasts are notable around the branded areas and the Swoosh represents the Rams and the Dodgers. The “LAX” text seen embossed on the strap pays homage to the city as well, while the number 24 is a nod to the Kevin Griffey Jr. Additional detailing includes the “Los Angeles” text written in cursive on the purple lace tips to celebrate the Lakers. The shoe sits atop a white and blue midsole to round out the design.
The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Los Angeles” arrives later this year and is expected to retail for $170 USD in select retailers and online at Nike.
