Napapijri has launched a new collaboration with renowned Italian designer Moreno Ferrari. The collection takes inspiration from the “NO” project, which was launched Ferrari in 2018 and saw him transform the Napapijri Skidoo jacket into a piece of armour constructed from recycled materials.

Revisiting this theme, Ferrari has crafted a circular collection using sustainable and recyclable materials. The five items in the collection reference discarded items such as bubble wrap and plastic safety nets, which are transformed into all-over prints to highlight the need to recycle and re-use.

The capsule includes two Northfarer jackets, as well as a hoodie, sweatshirt and T-shirt, all of which are recyclable and constructed using ECONYL, a material made of nylon waste such as fishing nets, old carpets and industrial waste. Every item can also be returned using Napapijri’s digital take back program, allowing them to be transformed into new garments.

The collaboration between Moreno Ferrari and Napapijri is available now from Antonia, and will launch via the Napapijri web store on June 7.

In other fashion news, The North Face recently launched its “Summer Exploration” capsule.
