Primitive Taps Cymbal Manufacturer Zildjian for a Special-Edition Capsule
Featuring co-branded cymbals, skate decks, and apparel.
Following a collaboration with popular anime series My Hero Academia, Paul Rodriguez‘s skate brand, Primitive Skateboarding, now tap Zildjian, the world’s leading manufacturer of cymbals and drumsticks, for a special-edition capsule.
The upcoming collection consists of a range of apparel including premium fleece hoodies, graphic short and long-sleeve tees, and headwear that feature cymbal and sound wave motifs from Zildjian, combined with nature graphics from Primitive. The heavy grey hoodies are highlighted by raised vertical Primitive branding on the back accompanied by colored sketches of cymbals and hummingbirds. Zildjian’s stylized cursive branding is seen layered on top of Primitive’s large bolded logo across the front of all the wearables.
Rounding out the capsule are limited-edition shimmer foil skateboard decks and a custom co-branded Primitive x Zildjian 20” Crash cymbal.
Look for the Zildjian x Primitive collection to arrive at the Primitive Skateboarding and Zildjian websites on April 8 at 11 a.m. PST (2 p.m. EDT).
