Nike Dunk Low "Safari" Returns With Darker Cheetah Prints
A wild earth-friendly take.

Following a patchwork “Safari Mix” Dunk Low teased earlier in January, the Nike Dunk Low “Safari” returns in a darker mix of “Caocao Wow/Off Noir-Gorge Green.”
Tinker Hatfield‘s “Safari” footwear line stretches back to the 1987 Nike Air Safari, which was inspired by a couch in a furniture store covered in real ostrich skin. Following the initial excitement around the wild pebbled prints, the designs later found their way onto modern silhouettes such as the Foamposites and Prestos.
The latest offering takes an eco-conscious approach with grey hemp mesh uppers and Nike Grind gum soles. “Safari” leather overlays in green, yellow, and brown are featured over top with black monochrome leather Swooshes along the sides and a yellow suede Nike tab featured on the heel. Laces appear in green, and yellow hues extend along the inner lining and tongue tabs.
Take an official look at the Nike Dunk Low “Safari” above, and expect the pairs to arrive in the coming months at Nike’s website and select retailers.
Elsewhere in footwear, this custom One Piece Nike Air Force 1 is inspired by Luffy’s Gum Gum Pistol.
