HAVEN Develops Minimalist Functional Wares for SS22

For Spring/Summer 2022, HAVEN has put together a range of minimalist functional wears designed to offer both comfort and protection. The adaptable garments serve as solutions for rain and shine express an understated color palette to adapt to any wardrobe. While the mix of ingenious detailing and ergonomic tailoring ensures unrestrained movement and everyday practicality for natural and urban environments.

Completely crafted in Canada, the seasonal range utilizes soft polyester fleece for dynamic warmth in transitional weather and lightweight stretch nylon ripstop for adaptability in all conditions. The complementary fabrics are accented by HAVEN’s partnership debut with GORE-TEX™ INFINIUM™.

The technical textile focus is continued with continued work with Swiss technical fabric experts Schoeller®. Introducing Dynamic, an ultra-lightweight, 4-way stretch, breathable and UV resistant fabric, and reusing Schoeller® Dryskin on the selection of utilitarian tops, bottoms and headwear. Looking towards the warmer weather ahead, COOLMAX® and ultralight Tropical Wool from Japanese mill Solotex® serve to offer garments a lightweight feel with both immense breathability and moisture-wicking properties.

Finally, HAVEN developed long and short sleeve T-shirts to add to its wardrobe staple offerings with Suvin cotton. Providing an all-season weight and an ultra-soft hand feel, the tees take advantage of what is considered one of the finest cottons in the world. Suvin cotton is a hybrid of “Sujata” Egyptian cotton and Sea Island Cotton for a premium expression of the essential styles.
