atmos and ASICS SportStyle Outfit the GEL LYTE III OG in Subway Maps
The two-pronged pack nods to the train systems of Tokyo and New York.

Several parallels can be drawn between New York City and Tokyo, one of which is that the public transportation systems of both destinations are an integral part of how each city functions. And this season, atmos and ASICS wanted to honor this element of these urban cities by producing a duo of subway-inspired GEL LYTE III OG colorways.
Across the whole upper halves of each iteration, you’ll find the actual train lines of each city that are reminiscent of Google Maps and printed in an all-over fashion. For the Big Apple-inspired offering, the tiger stripes on the media sides usher in some slight contrasting as they are styled up in gray while the Japan-focused rendition bears navy blue ASICS insignias and kanji lettering that arrives on the front side. Tongues are playfully styled as well, the US pair is ornamented with “NY” on the left shoe and an apple on the right while the Asia installment has “TYO” on the left side and the Tokyo Tower on the right.
Check out a detailed look at each pair below and note that the raffle for the “NYC SUBWAY” started on April 5 while the “TYO SUBWAY” starts on April 19 via atmos. Note that the US release will be first come first served while the Japan drop will be via raffle.
