Kanye West's adidas YZY QNTM "Mono Carbon" Is Dropping Today
Coming to the CONFIRMED app in a matter of hours.
After being teased back in March and again later that month, the adidas YZY QNTM “Mono Carbon” is officially set to release later this month.
Stemming from Kanye West‘s ongoing YEEZY partnership with adidas, the pair adopts a basketball-influenced silhouette that deviates from much of the YEEZY work West and his team — notably Steven Smith and Cesar Idrobo — put out. Regardless, here we find a Primeknit upper that’s marked with distinctive 3M etchings that shine under a flash of light, while translucent monofilament panels bring this pair more in line with other YEEZY footwear offerings, such as the 350 V2.
Suede appears on the toe while neoprene has been used to offer padded construction to the heel support and quarter section, where a reflective heel cap in black also appears. This darker theme is continued down the tongue and vamp, while contrasting this is the full length concealed BOOST midsole, which on the underside is marked with a blue triangular indicator.
Take a look at the adidas YZY QNTM “Mono Carbon” above, and pick up a pair from adidas CONFIRMED on April 7 for $260 USD.
