Medicom Toy BE@RBRICKs Draw On Suicoke's Past of Matryoshka Dolls
Featuring a sugar skull-like motif.
Suicoke and Medicom Toy have teamed up for a new set of BE@RBRICKs, bringing the former’s history of crafting Matryoshka dolls into play. The hand-painted wooden dolls are designed with decreasing sizes and are placed one inside another. This is actually what Suicoke’s began producing back in 2006 before setting its sights on the world of footwear.
Following the Matryoshka dolls’ tradition of drawing particular themes from traditional or fictional characters, the latest BE@RBRICKs come in 100% and 400% sizes decorated with Mexican sugar skull-like motifs, said to be an expression and icon of immortality.
The limited BE@RBRICK × SUICOKE 100% & 400% figures will be released on March 20 on the Suicoke North America web store, Suicoke global web store platforms, and Holt Renfrew stores across Canada.
