Medicom Toy Honors Nujabes With New "metaphorical music" BE@RBRICK Set
Coming in a 100% & 400% set.
Following the release of Medicom Toy‘s “FIRST COLLECTION” BE@RBRICK, we take a closer look at yet another set titled “metaphorical music” that celebrates the late record producer and pioneer of lo-fi hip hop Nujabes.
The latest collection comes in a set of 100% and 400% BE@RBRICKs adorned with multi-colored painted swirls on a solid white base similar to the last edition. This time, the figurines see mainly green, orange, and brown hues in place of the previous blue, pink, and red-dominant colorway drawn from the album art of Nujabes’ Hydeout Productions 1st Collection. The latest design is reminiscent of the artwork of its namesake, Nujabes’ first solo album released in 2013, which showcases the artist’s style of combining the hip hop and jazz elements in his music.
Priced at $205 USD, the BE@RBRICKs Nujabes “metaphorical music” 100% & 400% set is now available on HBX.
