Rebellion Re-Volt Chrono Colored Carbon Offers Camouflage Remix on Carbon Fiber
The new case material uses technical carbon coils in the mix for added strength.

Rebellion Timepieces has dropped a chronograph encased in a new coloured carbon case material that reveals its structure with the appearance of camouflage.
The Re-Volt Chrono Colored Carbon is available in three different colour combinations: Arctic Storm, Mars Valley and Toxic Storm.
The Swiss watchmaker has developed a new process to counter the structural weaknesses normally introduced by adding multiple colored pigments to the carbon fiber mix of carbon and resin.
Rebellion has instead used technical carbon roving – coiled bundles of carbon filaments – that offers “superior rigidity” and results in the camouflage pattern. Arctic Storm introduces blue tones to the carbon mix, Mars Valley shades of red and grey while Toxic Storm mixes greens, yellow and grey.
The watches use an openworked honeycomb lattice dial revealing hints of the automatic movement below, while above sits centrally mounted minute and hour hands and a chronograph seconds hands. A 60-minute chronograph counter at the three o’clock position also houses a date window, with a small seconds dial offering symmetry on the opposite side of the dial.
More information on the Re-Volt Chrono Colored Carbon is available at Rebellion Timepieces.
Elsewhere in watches, Armin Strom re-invents the date complication.
