Marvel Studios Signs Shawn Levy to Direct 'Deadpool 3'
“The third film in my Shawn Levy trilogy will be a tad more stabby,” said Ryan Reynolds.
According to reports, Marvel Studios has now signed on Oscar-nominated director Shawn Levy to direct Deadpool 3.
Already directing Free Guy and The Adam Project, Levy will team up with Ryan Reynolds once again for the third installment of the Deadpool series. The sequel to Deadpool 2 is also set to be the Merc with a Mouth’s official introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the writers of the first two Deadpool movies, will return to write Deadpool 3.
Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter to share the news noting, “The third film in my Shawn Levy trilogy will be a tad more stabby.”
