Goldwin and 1LDK Collide for an All-Black Capsule Collection
High-tech hybrid pieces fit for the city and the great outdoors.
Tokyo select shop 1LDK and sportswear giant Goldwin have joined forces to release a blacked-out capsule of weatherproof outdoor layering pieces.
The collaborative lineup includes seven silhouettes beginning with long coats, pants, and 6-panel rope cord caps based on materials taken from Goldwin’s “PERTEX SHIELD AIR Jacket.” The apparel pieces feature retractable mesh pockets, waxed hems, and a smooth outer shell that easily deflects rainwater and other excess material such as wood chips while conducting hands-on work.
Re-pose sweatpants and sweatshirts are made available in high-performance KODENSHI® fabrics that regulate internal temperatures for comfort, and black and white arch-graphic hand towels made by illustrator Japanese illustrator Noritake complete the assortment.
The Goldwin x 1LDK capsule will be available at the Goldwin and 1LDK websites as well as both brands’ physical stores in Tokyo beginning on March 31. Prices range from ¥3,850 JPY to ¥71,500 JPY (approximately $32 to $588 USD).
