DC Comics Is Offering NFTs of Batman's Cowls Worth $60 Million USD
Collectors will reportedly have access to a special fan forum with behind-the-scenes content.

DC Comics is bringing Batman into the world of NFTs.
While the entertainment company only teased the project over on Twitter, a report from Variety suggests that the upcoming DC Bat Cowls Collection will drop 200,000 unique NFTs based on the Dark Knight’s numerous iconic headpieces over the years. Each NFT will sell for $300 USD, bringing in a grand total of $60 million USD for DC Comics.
Aside from owning a unique digital collectible, the NFT will also give you access to a private DC Universe fan forum that’ll feature behind-the-scenes content as well as physical collectibles, other merch, and select fan events. Eventually, over the course of two years, DC will also integrate the cowls you own into the metaverse.
For those interested, the Bat Cowl Collection will be available from April 26, and those that already own DC FanDome NFTs will be able to access an exclusive presale for them. To learn more, you can check out DC’s NFT marketplace.
