Ann Demeulemeester FW22 Showcases Its Heritage of Elegant Simplicity
Featuring monochromatic elongated silhouettes and sleek profiles.

For the Fall/Winter 2022 season, Ann Demeulemeester takes a look into the brand’s rich design history to assemble its new collection.
The new offering marks the third Ann Demeulemeester collection under a new creative direction, so the new collection hones in on Demeulemeester’s elegant and sophisticated heritage. Models appeared in monochromatic looks in black and slate gray with the most subtle pop of white. The usage of little to no color is typical for the Antwerp-based label, which allows for a laser focus on the selection of tailored garments.
Comprised of elongated silhouettes and sleek profiles, the collection showcases heightened attention to clean lines and timeless designs. Many of the pieces include floor-length coats and dresses that are elevated by leather, cotton and wool fabrics. Design details like button placement, asymmetrical closures, wrap constructions and relaxed silhouettes differentiate the similarly striking garments. A highlight of the collection is reconstructed three-piece suiting that features both fitted and relaxed silhouettes, in addition to detachable collars. Other details that permeate the romantically clean collection are deep V-necks and contrasting white collars.
