Samsung Galaxy Invites You to an Evening at KidSuper Studios

With a shared commitment to using technology for staying connected, Samsung Galaxy and Colm Dillane, founder and creative director of KidSuper, are inviting fans to an in-person and livestream event inside the fashion label’s new Brooklyn studio and on Samsung’s Twitch channel. An Evening at KidSuper will bring together a collective of fashion and technology enthusiasts to experience a first-hand account of the importance of community, brand-building and staying in touch from the perspective of two forward-thinking designers. Tune into the event, taking place on March 28 from 6 to 8 PM ET, for a livestream discussion between Dillane and Luar founder Raul Lopez, followed by an audience Q&A.

Since the brand’s founding, the fashion world has witnessed KidSuper’s meteoric rise from cult streetwear label to LVMH Prize finalist and celebrity favorite. This is due in large part to the ability of Dillane —  an artist, director and designer — to translate his out-of-the-box approach and forward-thinking ideas into a community that feels at once local and global. Similarly, Raul, who founded the label Luar and co-founded Hood by Air, has carved out a distinct niche with a vision and approach that warmly invites others to embrace their singular expression of style. This pair of New York-based designers and visionaries will sit down for a conversation that offers insight into how they use technology to push the boundaries of creativity and the importance of using fashion to create a space for the meeting of minds.

It was revealed in a video series on HYPEBEAST featuring Dillane and KidSuper’s head of digital, Adham Foda, that technology plays a key role in not just the logistical side of the label, but also the equally important creative and community-building aspects of the company. An Evening at KidSuper Studios will serve as an extension of this conversation by inviting Lopez to offer his perspective on the topic and welcoming fans to join in on the discussion with a Q&A.

An Evening at KidSuper Studio will take place on March 28 from 7 to 8 PM ET at KidSuper Studios in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and online via Samsung’s Twitch channel.
