To celebrate All-Star Weekend 2022, which took place in Cleveland, Michelob ULTRA and NBA JAM have teamed up to create a “Enjoy It Like It’s 1993” experience for basketball fans. Featuring a revival of a popular ’90s video game, the two brands have created an NBA JAM-inspired capsule collection of merchandise, customized cans of Michelob ULTRA and all the accessories needed for the ultimate gaming session.

Housed in an athletic player bag, the game-ready collection produced by Homage includes three of the ULTRA x JAM cans, a special ULTRA x JAM basketball, ’90s-inspired merchandise from the “Time Capsule Collection,” an ULTRA x JAM keychain patch and an ULTRA x JAM bottle opener. Pixelated artwork of the original game’s basketball players like James Worthy and Dominique Wilkins runs throughout the collection for an authentic arcade aesthetic. Reminding fans of an exciting time when the game was first released in 1993, this collaboration highlights a retro gaming experience to share an important chapter within NBA history.

Each of the black and neon-colored, limited-edition beer cans feature catch phrases from the iconic game like, “He’s on Fire” and “Boom Shaka Laka.” To capture the bold personalities of basketball stars who dominated the game in the ’90s, the items in this merchandise collection includes flame details and large-scale graphics.

Apparel, accessories and other merchandise from the Player Bag by Michelob ULTRA and NBA JAM are now available for purchase by heading to the brands’ website. Featuring an old school layout, additional information about the 1993-inspired programming and cans can also be found on the website.
