Roots Canada Prepare One-of-One Varsity Jacket for The Weeknd's Birthday
Presenting the artist’s 32nd birthday.
Continuing its relationship with The Weeknd, Canadian imprint Roots Canada recently hosted the artist’s 32nd birthday party.
Taking place at Delilah in Las Vegas February 19, the bash saw The Weeknd wore a one-of-one custom varsity jacket. The jacket is the eighth jacket made by Roots for The Weeknd. Centered around his Dawn FM album, the outerwear style is marked with motifs associated with the Canadian artist’s fifth studio album. The wool body and leather sleeves are embroidered with imagery related to the fictional 103.5 dawn FM radio station integral to the album.
