Unimatic, Revolution and The Rake Unveil Limited-Edition U1 GMT in "Artic Fox"
Only 150 pieces are available.
Unimatic and Revolution have come together with The Rake for their first collaboration, starring an icy yet pristine GMT timepiece, aptly named Unimatic × Revolution & The Rake U1 GMT “Arctic Fox.”
Arriving in an all-white colorway, the limited-edition timepiece draws inspiration from Artic foxes and their fascinating color-changing fur, which alternates from brown in summer to pure white in winter. The watch is coated with a ceramic-based Cerakote-finish, which is usually applied to cars, motorcycle exhausts, and firearms to harden its surface while also improving its resistance against corrosion and extreme temperatures.
The dial continues the monochrome color scheme, with only thin accents of black incorporated to highlight the indices and tips of the second and GMT hands. Meanwhile, the bezel is made of raw aluminum for a rugged touch. The special edition GMT is equipped with a Swiss-made ETA 2893-2 caliber, which provides the watch with up to 42 hours of power reserve. In addition to the original white straps, it also comes with two other camouflage print straps in black or blue with white.
Releasing on December 28, the special edition U1 GMT “Arctic Fox” will be available for purchase via Revolution’s official website. It will also retail for €1,500 EUR (approximately $1,599 USD) with only 150 numbered units produced.
Elsewhere in watches, G-SHOCK launches the G-B001 with double bezels.
