Japanese video game developer, Bandai Namco, has released a new trailer for Tekken 8.

The reveal trailer for the renowned fighting game surfaced this past September – teasing Kazuya Mishima’s return via a battle between him and his son, Jin Kazama. Whereas the reveal trailer got fans excited just with the announcement alone, the new trailer offers a closer look at the story and gameplay of the forthcoming title.

Set to be a family reunion, the trailer showcases a continuation of the saga between the Mishima and Kazama families and reveals even more of what’s to come from their high-energy battles. The trailer also showcases Paul, King, Lars, Law, Jack-8 and Jim Jazama’s mother, Jun Kazama.

Although a release date is to be revealed, Tekken 8 is set to arrive on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Check out the trailer above for a peak at the newest edition in the long-running Tekken franchise.

In other gaming news, Street Fighter 6 drops its release date trailer.
