Grayscale Hues Cover This Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Colorway
The running-turned-lifestyle model receives another clean arrangement.
Nike and its running-turned-lifestyle Zoom Vomero 5 silhouette has returned to the spotlight in a brand new colorway that zeroes in on a grayscale arrangement. This fresh makeup is the latest to surface on our radar as the model was recently unveiled in a “Photon Dust” palette with metallic Swooshes.
In 2019, the silhouette went on a hot streak by dropping in a variety of striking inline colorways and even made a substantial amount of noise for its collaboration with A-COLD-WALL*. Part of the former was a “Vast Grey” colorway which was well-received amongst the sneaker community, and given that it can now only be purchased on the resell market, this forthcoming iteration would be a nice consolation prize.
Brighter neutral tones are applied to the richly-layered base. Various shades of gray suit up the mesh backdrops, ribbed quarter panels, heel cages and Swooshes. Charcoal accents arrive atop the toe tips, tongues and midsole molds. If you peek inside the shoes, you’ll notice that the insoles have been stamped with a silhouette of Bill Bowerman — one of the Swoooh’s co-founders.
No release info has been announced yet but it’s likely that these could hit the shelves in early 2023.
For other news, the Nike Dunk Low “University Red” is restocking.
