HOKA ONE ONE Presents Futuristic PROJECT CLIFTON Runners
Featuring a quick lace system and AquaGuard zippers.
French athletic shoe company HOKA ONE ONE has presented its latest offering, building upon its award-winning Clifton running series with a new futuristic PROJECT CLIFTON silhouette. While mainly known for its all-terrain trail runners, the upcoming pairs are adapted more for the urban sprawl, featured in clean “Goblin Blue,” “Blanc De Blanc,” and “Black” colorways.
Based on HOKA ONE ONE’s classic Clifton 8, the PROJECT CLIFTON footwear incorporates a number of add-ons and alterations including 5-D printed uppers incorporating sharp wave-like cutouts, an extended achilles pull tab, and a quick lace system protected by weatherproof AquaGuard® zips. The updates offer the shoe a new innovative look while delivering added functionality, durability, and convenience. Below, thick compression-molded EVA sole units are offered in a Meta-Rocker profile which supports a runner’s natural form.
Priced at ¥31,900 JPY (approximately $233 USD), the HOKA PROJECT CLIFTON lifestyle runners will be available online and at select retailers beginning December 15.
Elsewhere in footwear, atmos and adidas reconnect for a “Purple Suede” ADIMATIC.
