With the Studio Ghibli theme park officially opening its doors on November 1, it is now set to internationally sell its first batch of tickets in 2023.

Reservations for guests planning their visit between March 15 to April 30, 2023 can purchase their tickets starting January 10, 2023 at 2 p.m. JST, with the park noting that the sale of the international tickets will be done gradually so it can “provide visitors with the most enjoyable experience possible,” even if the “reservation process may be inconvenient.”

Anime News Network adds that Ghibli Park’s Dondoko Forest, Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse and Hill of Youth are open to visitors, while the Mononoke Forest and Valley of Witches are due to open in late 2023 and March 2024, respectively. Fans can also take a side trip to The Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, where they can see interactive exhibits, replicas of important Ghibli features and a rotating screening of the studio’s animated shorts.

Tickets can be purchased on the official Ghibli Park website starting January 10, 2023.

Elsewhere in entertainment, check out everything coming to and leaving HBO Max in January 2023.
