Trophy Room Unveils Its Collaborative Apparel Collection With Jordan Brand
The capsule’s release coincides with its Air Jordan 7 “New Sheriff in Town” SNKRS drop.
To kick off the month of November 2022 on a strong note, Jordan Brand debuted its latest collaborative initiative with Marcus Jordan‘s own Trophy Room. The joint venture includes the Air Jordan 7 “New Sheriff in Town” offering alongside matching apparel, the latter of which has been officially unveiled by the Nike team.
Inspiration for this entire project is drawn from the legendary Team USA “Dream Team” basketball squad that participated in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. The team — which featured NBA icons in Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone and more — engaged in high-intensity scrimmages and trash talking. And so like the sneakers, the apparel references patriotic color schemes and Olympic-inspired decor.
The standout piece from the small assemblage is the Woven Track Jacket. It is fitted with red, white and blue color-blocking and comes embellished with a Trophy Room logo on the left chest, star on the back of the neck, a Trophy Room spell-out on the right sleeve and a Jordan Brand logo on the left sleeve. Next in line is the Game Short which mimics the Team USA uniforms from 30 years ago with its white mesh backdrops alongside navy and red trimming. Rounding out the capsule is the Practice Short that comes fitted with understated navy mesh and tiny co-branded hits that split between each leg.
Prices for the pieces range from $75-$175 USD, and you can expect them to launch alongside the aforementioned kicks come November 9 via SNKRS.
