PHILÉO Is the Sustainable Emerging Footwear Brand Presenting a "Twisted Hospital Shoe"
Made from Vegatex in Portugal, could the 018C FUTURMOC become your next must-have mule?

At just 20 years old, Philéo Landowski is one of the youngest in the sneaker game right now. His eponymous brand, PHILÉO, is self-described as a “collaborative platform,” creating shoes with the objective to bring people together while putting “memories and passions” at the forefront, “resulting in the creation of new emotion when they are brought together.” This has resulted in collaborations with the likes of LGN Louis Gabriel Nouchi, but it doesn’t stop there.
While this might sound far-fetched to some, PHILÉO’s concept is incredibly important as it puts environmental and social consciousness at the fore of its processes, opting to improve its carbon footprint with the use of the sustainable leather alternative Vegatex and other materials with a minimal ecological impact — and leading the pack are futuristic styles like the 018C FUTURMOC.
Dubbed the “twisted hospital shoe,” PHILÉO’s 018C FUTURMOC comes in its signature black hue and features an upper comprised of the aforementioned Vegatex material. Here, it’s treated to a matte finish, working alongside mesh which wraps around the shoe creating dimension and a background for the printed PHILÉO branding.
The pair is assembled in Portugal, which is where the Earth-friendly rubber sole unit is added into the design mix. The unit is thick, well-padded and robust, sporting a bulbous design that oozes comfort and an aesthetic that continues to up the futurism. Branding on the insoles rounds off the pair.
