ROSE IN GOOD FAITH Renders Its Viral Plastic Soul Shoe in "Crème Brûlée"
Limited to just 400 pairs.
For Black Friday this year, ROSE IN GOOD FAITH will be offering the third colorway of its viral shoe, dubbed the “Plastic Soul.” Introduced earlier this year, the unique footwear style is created in partnership with iconic American sex toy manufacturer Doc Johnson.
Each shoe is constructed of material rendered from the upcycle of adult toys that are deemed “damaged” or defective through manufacturing. The adult toys are ground down into millimeter-sized cubes of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) mixed with non-bleach EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate) foam and injection molded to form the Plastic Soul. Aside from its unique construction, the ROSE IN GOOD FAITH Plastic Soul is designed with raised arches at the footbed for extra support and natural cork insoles for personalized comfort.
To mark Black Friday, RIGF is introducing a “Crème Brûlée”-inspired take on the Plastic Soul. The low-ankle runner is rendered to express a pale yellow reminiscent of the dessert consisting of a rich custard base topped with a layer of hardened caramelized sugar.
Priced at $99 USD, the Plastic Soul “Crème Brûlée” will be available Black Friday, November 25 on ROSE IN GOOD FAITH’s website.
