As the week in music comes to a close, HYPEBEAST has rounded up the best projects for the latest installment of Best New Tracks.

This week is led by Brockhampton, who have delivered the first single from their final album The Family, as well as Sigrid with a cut from the deluxe edition of her new LP, “Everybody Says They’re Fine.” JID added the song “2007” to The Forever Story, while Jason Derulo teamed up with Australian DJ duo SHOUSE. Additional selections in the mix come from Yves Tumor, North Ave Jax, Lil Tjay, Dej Loaf, Selena Gomez and more.

Brockhampton – “Big P*ssy”

Long-running music collective Brockhampton is gearing up to drop their seventh and final album, The Family, on November 17. Most of the project has been kept under wraps but they’ve shared the first song from the LP, “Big P*ssy,” which is slated fourth on its tracklist.

Sigrid – “Everybody Says They’re Fine”

Norwegian singer Sigrid’s sophomore album addressed the topic of mental health from different angles. On the deluxe edition of the LP, Sigrid continues the conversation on “Blue” and her latest single, “Everybody Says They’re Fine.” “Worry about the future / Then cover it with humor,” she reflects on the latter song. “No one talks about the ending / And I guess I wanna blend in.”

JID – “2007”

JID has tacked on another single to his latest album, The Forever Story. “2007” features spoken words from J. Cole and JID’s manager Ib Hamad, as well as JID’s father. The track was left off of the album when it was released in August due to issues with clearing samples but was recorded to serve as its outro.

Selena Gomez – “My Mind & Me”

As the title track to her upcoming Apple TV documentary, Selena Gomez reflects on her relationship with her mental and physical health on “My Mind & Me.” Over the years, the singer has received a kidney transplant and battled lupus, all while being under the lens of the public eye. “My mind and me, we don’t get along sometimes,” she sings. “And it gets hard to breathe, but I wouldn’t change my life.”

Jason Derulo x SHOUSE – “Never Let You Go”

Melbourne-based electronic duo SHOUSE — Jack Madin and Ed Service — have teamed up with Jason Derulo for the upbeat dance track “Never Let You Go.” SHOUSE shared how the partnership happened by chance, writing on social media that they “never thought that the legend Jason Derulo hearing our music in Ibiza would lead to a collab like this… but love what he’s done!”

Dej Loaf – “Harpo! (Who Dis Woman)”

Dej Loaf took a two-year hiatus from releasing new music following the release of her debut album, Sell Sole II. (Who Dis Woman),” leaving fans wondering if Dej Loaf may have another LP in the works.
