The adidas Forum Low Releases "Home Alone 2" Edition for the Holidays
Paying homage to the pigeon lady from Central Park.
Adidas is gearing up for the holidays with a special release that pays homage to one of Hollywood’s staple Christmas movies of all-time. Specifically, it honors one of the most iconic holiday film characters from Home Alone 2.
As a nod to the holiday season and Kevin’s misfortune in New York City, the special edition adidas Forum Low comes dressed in a grey color scheme as an ode to the pigeon lady from Central Park who Kevin ends up growing a great friendship with. The shoe is constructed in a mix of leather, suede, rubber and mesh. The shoe features a white and grey leather base, while the suede panels also have a grey hue. The lining is in a reddish maroon, typically seen on pigeons, following the motif. The “Home Alone 2” moniker is seen on the tongue, while the phrase “Hiya Pal!” from when the Wet Bandits duo finally catch up to Kevin in NYC, is on the dubrae. The shoe also features hangtags and an extra set of laces.
Look out for the adidas Forum Low “Home Alone 2” releasing on December 3 at select retailers and on adidas for a retail price of $120 USD.
