Official Look at the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 4
James Whitner elevates the classic model with luxe uppers, quilted liners and more.
Lauded for its captivating storytelling and commitment to uplifting the Black community and its creatives, The Whitaker Group has become a household entity within the sneaker space. Following the release of its Social Status x Nike Air Max Penny 2 “Playground” release, James Whitner and his crew are turning our attention back to its initiatives with A Ma Maniére as they have unveiled its forthcoming Air Jordan 4 collaboration.
In a similar fashion to previous Jordan collaborations that we’ve seen the retailer roll out, this impending installment is manufactured with a luxe build and aesthetic. A dusted “Violet Ore” hue is used in high quantity here as it submerges the side panels, tongues, netted throats and quarters, laces, cages, overlays and interior quilted liners. Extra AMM branding is present through an oversized “A” that lands on the left tongue and a button that is planted into the collars. Inspirational messaging also gets tossed into the mix here on the insides of the heel counters. The right shoe reads “It’s not about the shoes” while the left shoe says “It’s about where you’re going.” To top everything off, A Ma Maniére brandishes the heel counters with the more favorable “Nike Air” hits.
Early reports have these slated to launch on November 23, 2022, but this has yet to be confirmed.
Elsewhere in sneakers, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG WMNS “Olive” reportedly has a release date.
