For the new timepiece, Seiko incorporates the retro design aesthetic of the Super Cub, which is the most-produced motorbike of all time. Appearing in green/beige and black/gray colorways, a highlight of the piece is its striped dial that is inspired by the Super Cub’s front design. Another subtle design feature is the 12 o’clock indicator that takes the form of the headlight. Completing the dial is the signature Super Cub logo.
Elsewhere on the watch is a striped NATO strap, fuel gauge crown, speed indicator bezel and date indicator. As a limited-edition item, the model includes 6,000 green/beige units and 5,000 black/gray units.
Ranging in price from £340 GBP – £380 GBP (about $381 USD to $426 USD), the watch is available now online.
