Clarks is constantly revitalizing its classic silhouettes — such as the Wallabee — with unique collaborations and colorways. And while the former allows the British shoe brand to stay in the headlines, and thus, consistently grow its fan base, the brand also stays in keeping with how it started: with sophisticated and contemporary designs that are crafted to be versatile shoes that can be worn all year round. With this in mind, Clarks has just presented one of its latest designs: the Craft Court Lace in black suede.

The shoe has been designed to support the foot’s natural biomechanics and has been crafted from black suede, merged with stitch detailing and vintage styling. Coming with a black suede upper, the sneaker is also made with a lightweight bio-based Braskem EVA midsole that’s made using renewable sugarcane. In addition to this, the shoe also comes fitted with a durable flex-grooved recycled rubber and rice husk outsole that is designed to give the wearer an enhanced grip. Rounding off the shoe, the recycled Terry lining gives offers a more vintage approach, while the additional recycled material in the laces makes yet another step into increasing Clarks’ environmental footprint.

You can have a closer look at the Craft Court Lace in black suede above and it is available now on Clarks’ official website.
