BSTN Brand, the in-house stylistic offshoot from the sneaker-centric German retailer BSTN, has unveiled its latest collection titled “Alpine Basketball.” The two seemingly clashing worlds combine with harmony thanks to BSTN Brand’s understanding of subcultures, bringing on and off-court basketball cues into a world of coziness fit for wintery Alpine escapes.

Collaborating with the glove maker ROECKL, BSTN Brand offers up a luxurious pair of fine Nappa leather gloves in black with white star-like patches on them, almost tapping into the motorsports trend if anything. Making sure they hit form and function, the gloves are packed with ROECKL TOUCH, a concept that allows wearers to still use their handheld devices when wearing the gloves. Elsewhere in the collaborative department, the eyewear imprint KOMONO has been tapped for three pairs of exclusive “The Glacier” sunnies, rounding off the dual-partner collabs.

As for the collection itself, reversible mesh jerseys and heavyweight T-shirts are met with heritage long-sleeves and heavy hoodies, contrasting the Alpine undertones of star-emblazed knits, corduroy tearaway pants, nylon gilets, and workwear shirts. For something more sartorial, the label also presents a padded Houndstooth overshirt that’s destined for a strong layered look, and a multitude of jacquard pieces that bring print to the fore.

Take a look at the BSTN Brand “Alpine Basketball” collection in the lookbook above, and be sure to pick up your favorite garms online from October 8.

Elsewhere in the world of fashion, Hypebeast recently spoke to the tech-outerwear imprint, RANRA.
