Slam Jam has teamed up with the Ohio rock band DEVO for a unique capsule collection, paying tribute to the band’s hit song “Beautiful World” 40 years after its release.

When DEVO performed in Kansas City, David Bowie introduced them as “the band of the future,” a statement that encapsulates their futuristic and forward-thinking approach to art.

Inspired by DEVO’s avant-garde style, the collection includes a hoodie, t-shirts, sweater, jacket and a technical tracksuit. The t-shirts, available in both black and white, and hoodie come printed with images of DEVO shot in the 1970s, while the sweater highlights the band’s distinct ziggurat helmet logo.

The silver tracksuit and black jacket pay homage to some of the iconic outfits the band has worn over the years.

The Slam Jam x DEVO capsule collection will be released exclusively at Slam Jam’s retail location and online.

In other fashion news, Goldwin released lightweight GORE-TEX jackets for spring.
