New Balance showed a ton of love to its 992 silhouette in 2021 by unloading a plethora of GRs along with collaborations alongside Concepts, Levi’s, Todd Snyder and more. Wasting no time in the new year to bring some attention to the lifestyle offering, New Balance has just revealed the model in a new colorway that features bold blue and gray uppers.

Mesh and buttery suedes are the two main materials that formulate the upper half, the former of which composes the underlays while the latter is used for the overlays. A bold cobalt blue spills onto the collars, toe boxes and front ends, while a the laces and quarter panels are drenched in a muted gray. Navy blue accents also get invited to this ensemble as it swathes the interior lining, tongues, “N” logos and mudguards. Angelic midsoles are loaded up with ABZORB cushioning to provide a cloud-like ride and it comes accented with a navy heel block and orange forefoot block for added flair.

In case you were looking to pick up a pair for yourself, a few retailers like Nice Kicks have these available right now for $175 USD.

For other sneaker news, a vegan New Balance 990v5 colorway has been revealed.
