The Sneakerpod Birdland Is the World's First Sneaker Brand from a Watchmaker

Ikepod — known for its UFO-inspired mechanical watches — takes its original design expertise and ventures into footwear.
This unexpected change in the product line was commented on by Ikepod’s owner Christian-Louis Col with, “I think a watch brand like Ikepod can bring its design credentials to an accessories line. It’s important for Ikepod to have its own sneakers, they define how we look and how we walk, sneakers are a statement.”
The first batch is limited to 200 pairs and follows a familiar orange-accented color scheme that’s found on its sports watches. Each pair is made in a specialized sneaker workshop in Portugal by hand. Priced at approximately $280 USD, head over to Ikepod to learn more about the Sneakerpod Birdland.
