Oliver Peoples Collaborates With Brunello Cucinelli in Timeless Eyewear Range
The LA-based eyewear brand takes a Roman Holiday.

Italian luxury brand Brunello Cuccinelli and eyewear masters Oliver Peoples release a selection of luxury eyewear including both sunglasses and optical glasses in their debut collaboration. Underpinning elegance within classic styles, the collection perfectly mirrors the timeless design language that both brands share.
From the aviator-style, metal framed Disoriano, to the thick acetate Filu, the five-part eyewear collection contains artisanal sunglasses that are brought to the present day with a spin on contemporary color ranges. Drawing inspiration from Italian cinema and old Hollywood pictures – think Federico Fellini’s La Dolce Vita meets Breakfast at Tiffany’s – each model oozes with glamour, and none more so than the staple Nino, which comes in both optical and sunglasses iterations.
Adding functionality to the range, a hybrid-style frame named the Artemio allows wearers to flick easily between optics and shades with a dedicated clip. The model maintains a lightweight, classic vintage look; this is not often achieved in bulkier hybrid specs, which lends itself back to the brands’ quality craftsmanship.
