Ben & Jerry’s has officially debuted their newest Limited Batch Flavor, “Change is Brewing.” The new flavor includes cold brew coffee ice cream paired with marshmallow swirls and the quintessential fudge brownies.

The ice cream highlights three Black-owned businesses by incorporating their products into the new flavor. BLK & Bold is a nationally distributed coffee company, providing the rich coffee base for “Change is Brewing.” Greyston Bakery, a longtime partner of Ben & Jerry’s, is a value-led supplier that follows an “open hiring” policy. The brand adds its fudge brownies to the mix. Laci Jordan, a Black multi-disciplinary artist is behind the imagery on the pint.

With “Change is Brewing,” Ben & Jerry’s continues its efforts as a company that champions racial justice. The ice cream house has joined more than 70 different organizations in supporting The People’s Response Act. Introduced by Congresswoman Cori Bush, the legislation aims to transform the system that has criminalized Black and Brown people nationwide into a place where it provides resources and helps communities of color flourish.

“Change is Brewing” is available in select retail stores across the U.S. Portions of the proceeds are expected to go to grassroots companies that are supporting the social transformation of America.
