DraftKings Marketplace is releasing its debut NFT collection, featuring an exclusive collection of Preseason Access content provided by Autograph.

Sports fans will be able to get a chance at bidding on autographs from some of the most iconic athletes in the world. Co-founder and seven-time Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady is set to headline the first drop. Other top athletes like Wayne Gretzky, Tony Hawk, Naomi Osaka, Derek Jeter, Tiger Woods and more will join Brady in the NFT market down the line. Matt Kalish, co-founder of DraftKings said, “The overall NFT market has already surged to over $2.5 billion in sales volume for the first half of 2021, and so whether someone is well-versed or barely familiar with digital collectibles, we envision DraftKings Marketplace being a premier platform for all within a trend that is decidedly here to stay.”

Each featured athlete will drop a limited number of NFT collectibles that include Premier drops and Signature drops. They differ as Signature features signed-versions of NFTS by the athletes. Each owner of a Preseason Access Pass will be granted preferential access to a future drop from Autograph. Aside from Tom Brady’s limited NFT, fans will also be able to acquire certified authentic content from other prominent athletes and collections.

The Tom Brady NFT Premier collection will first drop on August 11 followed by Signature editions dropping on August 13 on DraftKings Marketplace. Stay tuned for more exclusive drops.

In case you missed it, AMC is set to start accepting Bitcoin as payment.
