The Nike Dunk Low "Midas Gold" Is Perfect for USC Trojans Fans
Boasting a rich blend of gold and red tones.

The USC Trojans weren’t one of the eight schools included in Nike‘s 1985 “Be True to Your School” Dunk pack, but if they were it’s not unreasonable to think their Dunk would look a lot like the just-revealed Dunk Low “Midas Gold.” Blending the Trojans’ signature gold and red tones, the “Midas Gold” is — intentionally or otherwise — a collegiate-inspired colorway with plenty of sunny Southern California flair.
An eponymous “Midas Gold” tone is used on this Dunk Low’s toeboxes, quarter panels and collars, and is contrasted by “Tough Red” mudguards, eyestays, heels and collar flaps. Nylon tongues and leather heel tabs provide inverted branding, with the former placing red hits atop its yellow Nike Sportswear fabric tag while the latter embroiders a yellow Nike spellout on its red leather base. Red tongue trim and red laces add a finishing touch to the top half, while down below white midsoles and red outsoles round off the look.
At the time of writing, a release date for the Nike Dunk Low “Midas Gold” has yet to be announced. However, it’ll likely hit Swoosh stockists later this fall. Its MSRP is set at $100 USD. In addition, you can cop your pair via GOAT now.
