The next chapter for the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime has just been officially revealed. Titled JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean, this story takes place 10 years after the events of Golden Wind where Jolyne Cujoh, the first female “JoJo,” is sent to prison for a crime she didn’t commit.

Through the trailer, we see that she gets a visit from her father Jotaro Kujo as he attempts to spring her from jail while awakening her string-based stand, Stone Free. The anime will faithfully capture Hirohiko Araki‘s manga version which ran on Weekly Shonen Jump from 2000 to 2003 for a total of 17 volumes.

Produced once again by David Production, fans can expect JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean to release on Netflix this coming December. Check out the official trailer above.
