다다DADA多多 References Traditional Korean Textile With "HEMP T-SHIRTS" Release
Celebrating local artisans that have preserved the disappearing craft of Sambe hemp fabric weaving.
After referencing recent interest in investment with the “DADA KOSPI PACK” in collaboration with HEIGHTS, South Korean creative collective 다다DADA多多 has returned to introduce its “HEMP T-SHIRTS” release.
The latest offering references the traditional Korean textile of Sambe (삼베), a material that has been worn in the nation since ancient times. Not only is Sambe all-natural it also features antibacterial properties and is extremely durable. Despite being phased out of popular wear with the industrial revolution in Korea, local artisans have preserved the disappearing craft of Sambe hemp fabric weaving.
Celebrating that group of endearing craftsmen, the “DADA HEMP T-SHIRT” release is constructed of Sambe and comes in a variety of distinct colors. The White, Black, Grey, Navy and Mustard tees come embroidered tonally with 다다DADA多多’s signature logo with sizing ranging from Medium to Extra Large.
Priced at ₩59,000 KRW (approximately $51 USD), the “HEMP T-SHIRTS” release will be available on 다다DADA多多’s website August 5, 6 p.m. KST (5 a.m. EDT).
