'The Flash' Director Reveals Michael Keaton's Batman Suit

Building on anticipation of Michael Keaton reprising his Batman role in The Flash, director Andy Muschietti has now teased the veteran actor’s Batsuit.

Taking to Instagram, Muschietti shared a close-up of Keaton’s classic Batsuit marked with droplets of blood. The first look reveals that the iconic yellow Bat symbol made popular in early comics will be making its way into the upcoming DC Extended Universe film. The retro Batman is expected to fight alongside Ben Affleck‘s Batman and Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash in The Flash.

Michael Keaton famously played the Caped Crusader in Tim Burton’s Batman (1989) and sequel Batman Returns (1992) which brought a darker edge to the character and would help inform the modern-day superhero film genre.

DC Extended Universe’s The Flash is set to release on November 4, 2022.
