TAG Heuer Drops Another Killer Green Dial With New Limited Edition Carrera
Whoever’s signing off on dial colors at the Swiss brand deserves a pay rise.

TAG Heuer is really gunning for the green watch category, following up on its recent knockout Monaco with this blue/green-dialed Carrera limited edition chronograph.
Again limited to 500 pieces, the TAG Heuer Carrera Green Special Edition takes its cues from the original 1963 Ref. 2447 Carrera, but ups the case size to a more contemporary 39mm diameter.
The traditional layout of three register chronograph dial under a pronounced glass box sapphire crystal is untouched, allowing the sunray-brushed “teal” dial to shine. The dial also bears the vintage Heuer logo, reflecting the watch’s undiluted heritage inspiration.
Carrying the Calibre Heuer 02 automatic chronograph movement with both column wheel and vertical clutch, the watch boasts an 80-hour power reserve.
Available now exclusively via TAG Heuer, the Carrera Green Special Edition is priced $6,650 USD.
Elsewhere in watches, six lessons learned from Phillips’ $42m USD mega watch auction.
