With COVID-19 continuing to affect the theatre industry worldwide, South Korean cinema chain CJ CGV is now selling its beloved popcorn in bulk. During the pandemic, CGV has pivoted its business to offer its concession stand offerings for delivery on various food delivery apps to offer a taste of the movie-going experience at home.

But now the cinema chain has taken a viral approach for its latest effort. Earlier this month, CGV started offering its popcorn in a cement bag size option. Priced at ₩9,900 KRW (approximately $8.86 USD), the extra-large offering is undoubtedly the biggest size you can order and already has movie theater popcorn fans picking up a few bags at a time.
