Long a staple piece of the Nike lineup — first as a high-tech runner upon its 2000 debut, then as a beloved Nike Sportswear lifestyle model — the Air Presto has released in “Light Smoke Grey.” A familiar style to any Presto devotee, the “Light Smoke Grey” offers a no-frills blend of two different tones to serve up crisp, sporty look.

Prestos almost always feature mesh or neoprene uppers, and this model mixes both materials on its grey expanses. The smooth forefoot meets a textured mesh midfoot, collar and heel, while the entire assemblage is overlaid by a gray plastic midfoot cage and heel piece. Heel tabs aid with ease of entry and removal, while a translucent toe cap ensures forefoot stability.

Branding is largely kept to a minimum: on the upper, there’s a single embroidered white Swoosh on the forefoot, a detail on the gray rubberized tongue badge and a tonal Nike logo hit on the heel. Moving down to trim white EVA midsole, a gray midfoot Swoosh adds an extra dash of detail. Black rubber outsoles round off the look.

The Nike Air Presto “Light Smoke Grey” is available now at retailers like Asphalt Gold. The MSRP is set at $120 USD.
