After dropping his single “Calling my Phone” alongside 6LACK earlier this year, Lil Tjay has returned with brand new material in the form of another tune entitled “Headshot” that features Polo G and Fivio Foreign.

This New York (Lil Tjay and Fivio Foreign) and Chicago (Polo G) team-up opens with strikes of a violin along with piano notes that each serve as the build up for the hard knocking 808s that rings in the initial verse from the featured rappers. The tune is absent of a hook, and therfore transitions into the second verse between Lil Tjay and Fivio Foreign while a solo verse from Lil Tjay finishes out the near two and a half minute song. The eerie and sinister number exhibits bars that speak on topics like survival, and street violence and retaliation.

Various producers are called on by the “Trench Kid” for this new song, including that of Dmac, Non Native, TNT, Tahj Money, and Bordeaux. Furthermore, Lil Tjay also took to IG to tease the new single’s music video which appears to have been shot in an opulent mansion garden.
