This weekend, Studio Khara, Toho and Toei Company released the first 12 minutes of Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time. More specifically the “first 12 minutes, 10 seconds, and 10 frames” of the final Rebuild of Evangelion film in the tetralogy, the preview comes before the official premiere in Japan, March 8.

The nationwide release will see IMAX, MX4D and 4DX screenings of the long-awaited feature film from creator Hideaki Anno now more than nine years in the making. Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 was originally set to arrive in 2015 but numerous delays pushed it to 2020 before being constantly held back by the COVID-19 pandemic.
