Billelis is the British illustrator and digital artist best known for his highly-decorative renderings of three-dimensional skull models and other dark visuals. Although he champions a macabre style across his works, the artist also injects natural motifs and ornamentation to give his works a sense of beauty, life and elegance.

The artist is gearing up to launch a new series of crypto artworks under a series called In Memoriam on Nifty Gateway. “‘In Memoriam’ is a tribute to the memory of everyone who is no longer with us today. To the ones who challenged us, created us, held us, helped, inspired, loved, respected, supported and pushed us. This collection is for them,” said the artist to HYPEBEAST.

IV Gallery founder, Vincent Harrison, who is spearheading the partnership between the artist and Nifty Gateway is confident that the artist will make a huge impression not only with fans but crypto art enthusiasts as well. “While Billelis ‘s drop will still be well over seven figures, it’s important for iv gallery and the artists we work with to focus on the strength and presentation of the art, it facilitates the  sustainable, long term interests of our artists and collectors at the early stages of this amazing cultural shift in the acceptance of digital ownership and collecting,” said Harrison.

Billelis’ In Memoriam collection will go live on Nifty Gateway’s platform on March 24 at 6:30 p.m. EST. Check out select images of the NFT collectibles above and let us know your thoughts on this series.

Elsewhere in art, acclaimed Mexican visual artist It’s a Living is gearing up to launch a selection of new calligraphic works as part of a solo exhibition at Tokyo’s HPGRP gallery.
