UNDEFEATED's First Spring 2021 Delivery Goes Heavy on Tiger Camo
Militaristic flair meets sportswear staples.
LA-based boutique UNDEFEATED never takes its apparel collections beyond the casual comfort zone its customers know and love, ignoring trends in favor of reliable, comfortable staples that blend neatly with the retailer’s sneaker selection. Spring 2021 upholds that mantra with an assortment of casual tiger-striped militaria, accompanied by a variety of casual favorites and graphic standouts.
Ranging from a BDU shirt to cargo pants and shorts, the first delivery of Spring 2021 is rich with functional appeal, serving approachable silhouettes and earth tones in rugged duck canvas, back satin and ripstop textiles. Though the hero pieces are all available in the aforementioned all-over camouflage, they’re also offered in tonal makeups that occasionally sport additional “UNDFTD” branding and embroidered “WE ARE THE PEOPLE” verbiage. Cargo-pocketed vests, adjustable shoulder bags and similarly-patterned hoodies are en route for later drops.
Long-sleeved thermal shirts reinforce the militaristic mindset that reappears elsewhere by way of olive-toned “PLAY DIRTY” socks and boxer briefs. Graphic T-shirts and snapback caps are also on hand, as usual, featuring American-made blanks, UNDEFEATED’s iconic Five Strike logo and aggro “K.O.” and “Torch” prints that gently toy with the bold branding.
The first drop of Spring 2021 is available on UNDEFEATED’s website and its Japanese site, which offers an exclusive set of tote bags.
Elsewhere, elements of military apparel crept into the SS21 lookbooks of Japanese brands BAL and ROTOL.
