Bottega Veneta SS21 Is a Blend of Vibrant Colors and Tactile Textures
As photographed by Tyrone Lebon.
Bottega Veneta launches its widely-anticipated Spring/Summer 2021 collection titled Salon 01. Creative director Daniel Lee continues to interpret iconic house codes in a whole new light with tactile materials and experimental silhouettes.
The Italian fashion house transforms 90s-esque tailored jackets, flared trousers, 70s-style knitted tops and oversized outercoats into desirable SS21 staples. The collection maximizes its control of minimalism by employing bright colors and fluid silhouettes against well-cut tailoring and rich textures.
Lee artfully translates the brand’s woven leather symbol into knitted pieces that carry the same aesthetic, creating delicate knitted pouch bags alongside knit pieces.
Photographer Tyrone Lebon captures the collection in the brand’s latest Salon 01 campaign; the imagery features striking portraits as the garments are paired up with matching materials and colors. The campaign stars the likes of actress Sheila Atim, artist Rosemarie Trockel, Nora Svenson, Nikita Stsjolokov, Ottawa Kwami, Emil Schueler and Andrea Risso.
