Centered around finding “The Common Ground,” Albino & Preto has now teamed up with National Basketball Association for a collaborative collection.  A&P notes, “Basketball and jiu-jitsu require many hours to improve and a lot of time to master the craft. Both sports have a mutual parallel when it comes to the hunger and grind to be great. Together they share a common ground.”

Leading the special range are two kimonos focussed on two of the most storied franchises in the league, the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks. The LA Lakers and NY Knicks Kimonos feature 450-gram pearl weave tops with judo skirts and 10 oz cotton Novo pants. Detailing comes in the form of woven logo patches, A&P mark logos on the right sleeve, embroidered patches on the left sleeve, and both team script and NBA logos on the front. Finally, co-branded labels are applied on the bottom lapel and inside yolk, with each kimono coming with a drawstring knapsack.

Accompanying the kimono are a series of A&P NBA T-shirts for the Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Clippers, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers and the Golden State Warriors. Available in black and white, each team’s city nickname is printed on the left rib and finished with a logo stack on the back with the A&P mark logo, NBA logo, team logo, and “Common Ground” text.

Check out the NBA x Albino & Preto collection above and shop the range on A&P’s website now.
